We were batty for bats this week at Froggy Holler!
We dressed up in bat wings, and flew around the park as bats with our bat puppets,
sliding rock and sliding rock hill made great spots for flight tests,
And since bats are BIG eaters we stopped here for a snack as well,
Of course we listened to a story while snacking, the most loved bat story I know, Stellaluna.Then we had fun playing with our little Stellaluna puppet and her Mama (from the Library):
We trooped out to a cozy nook out in another spot to do some great journal writing today too. On the way back, we had to stop and give this cozy moss covered doug fir a bat snuggle.
These students were some pretty sweet bats today!
